- Any discrepancies or anomalies in the information provided will be explored if an applicant is shortlisted. 
- References will be obtained for all shortlisted candidates — always before a final offer is made. 
- One reference must be from your current employer (or most recent if you’re not currently employed). 
- If you’ve previously worked in childcare, a reference from that setting will also be required. 
- Any concerns raised through references will be discussed directly with you. 
Pre-Appointment Vetting Checks Include
- Verification of identity, including date of birth 
- Confirmation of original qualification certificates 
- Eligibility to work in the UK 
- Overseas checks (where applicable) 
- Enhanced DBS check (registered with the Update Service) 
We only appoint individuals who meet the requirements of our safer recruitment procedures and who demonstrate their suitability to work with children.
